The past February 11, 2025the Rector of the Al-Andalusia Islamic University of Spain, Sh. Mohammad Idrissiheld an institutional meeting with the Director of the Three Cultures Foundation, Lorena García de Izarrawith the objective of exploring possible avenues for cultural and social collaboration between the two entities.

The meeting took place in an atmosphere of open and constructive dialogue, focused on identifying common work spaces and sharing visions on the role of culture as a tool for social encounter and cohesion.

Culture, territory and coexistence

During the meeting, different possibilities for cooperation were discussed, with special emphasis on the cultural and social work that both institutions develop in the Macarena neighborhood.in coordination with the Seville City Hall. This shared framework for action provides a particularly fertile ground for promoting joint initiatives aimed at intercultural dialoguethe coexistence and the citizen participation.

The exchange made it possible to recognize affinities in the way of understanding culture as a living space, connected with the territory and with people, and as a tool capable of generating lasting bonds when it is built from closeness and collaboration.

As a gesture of academic and cultural courtesy, the Fundación Tres Culturas was presented with a copy of the book Al-Qurtubiawritten by Sh. Mohammad IdrissiThe book, destined to become part of the Foundation's library. This gesture symbolizes the will of knowledge sharing and to build bridges through the andalusian intellectual legacyThe company continues to be a source of inspiration for dialogue between cultures.

Beyond the possible future projects, the meeting highlighted the importance of to recognize and strengthen the work already being done in the cultural and social sphere of the city.
