About Sh. Mohammad Idrissi

He was born in Cordoba and grew up in Seville. He studied in Meknes where he memorized the Qur'an with Shaykh Al-Nasiri, studied fiqh with Shayk Al-Gimawi and Shaykh Muhammad Al-Hasani. Subsequently, he moved to the United Kingdom where he studied at Jami'at Ta'lim al-Islam according to the Dars Nizami method: studying grammar, morphology, rhetoric, logic, theology, law, theory of law, hadith sciences; reading the six books and studying other Islamic sciences. He received Iyazaht in: The Seven Qira'at of Shaykh Imtiaz; Sahih al-Bukhari and Jami' al-Tirmidhi of Saykh Muslih al-Din; Sahih Muslim of Shaykh Yusuf Darwan; Sunan Abi Dawood of Mufti Musa Badat; Sunan al-Nasa'i and Sunan Ibn Majah of Shaykh Yusuf Sacha; Muwatta of Shaykh Abu al-Qasim; Riyad al-salihin of Shaykh Muhammad Yunus al-Saharnfuri; and Musalsalat of Mufti Taqi Usmani. Back in Spain, he founded Andalusia Education. Currently, he is imam at the al-Hidaya Mosque in Seville and Rociana. He has written several books: Al-Qurtubia on the correct reading and recitation of the Qur'an, Essential Guide for a Muslim and Prayers and Remembrances.
