Al-Andalusia Institute

The Higher Institute of Islamic Sciences of Spain Al-Andalusia is one of the cornerstones of the educational project promoted by Sh. Mohammad Idrissi Alcaraz in the city of Seville. Its foundation responded to the need to offer a higher level training that, integrating the European educational space, would respond both to contemporary academic demands and to the rich Islamic tradition that inspires Al-Andalusia.

A bridge between tradition and modernity

In its early days, the institute focused on developing rigorous academic programs, especially in the areas of Islamic Sciences and Theology, with a strong emphasis on the training of teachers, imams and murshidat. Over the years, it has expanded its educational offerings to include undergraduate courses, an advanced degree and a specialized master's degree, all designed to provide students with a solid understanding of Islam, its jurisprudence and historical legacy, without losing sight of the current needs and realities of European society.

Comprehensive and recognized training

True to the vision of excellence that defines all Al-Andalusia institutions, the Higher Institute of Islamic Sciences guarantees quality teaching and a curriculum adapted to international standards. This commitment is reinforced by the signing of agreements with prestigious universities - such as the International Islamic University of Malaysia - and ongoing collaboration with other research and development centers. As a result, the institute's graduates enjoy growing recognition both inside and outside Spain.

Research and social projection

In addition to its teaching work, the Institute is distinguished by its ongoing academic research, whose main objective is to enrich the knowledge of Islamic sciences and to address the current challenges facing Muslim communities in Europe. With the help of qualified professors and researchers, it encourages critical analysis and the dissemination of the universal values of Islam, promoting intercultural dialogue and a positive contribution to society.

Towards the future

With a focus on educational excellence and the well-being of its students, the Al-Andalusia Higher Institute of Islamic Sciences of Spain continues to grow and adapt to the transformations of the modern world. Through a balanced combination of face-to-face teaching and virtual training tools, the institute consolidates its position as a reference that promotes the training of leaders, teachers and professionals, capable of building bridges between the legacy of Al-Andalus and the demands of the current context.

For those seeking a higher education anchored in the Islamic tradition and oriented to contemporary challenges, the Al-Andalusia Higher Institute of Islamic Sciences of Spain opens its doors, inviting you to be part of a project that embodies the living heritage of Al-Andalus and projects its light towards future generations.
