The March 10, 2025Al-Andalusia Islamic University of Spain was given the opportunity to participate in the renowned podcast Blogging Theologyan international space of reference for contemporary theological and academic analysis.

During the interview, the Rectorthe Sh. Mohammad Idrissipresented in detail the new university campusThe project is an emblematic project that reflects the educational and social vision of Al-Andalusia. This space, more than just a building, is conceived as a integrated learning environmentwhere students will be able to combine academic study, spiritual formation and coexistence, within a project that seeks to revive the Andalusian legacy of knowledge, dialogue and openness.

The conversation provided an opportunity to discuss the historical and academic history of the University, as well as the challenges and opportunities for Islamic education in Europe. Sh. Mohammad Idrissi stressed the importance of training students not only in Islamic disciplines, but also in critical thinking, ethics, and commitment to society, thereby building learning spaces that connect tradition and modernity.

The passage of Al-Andalusia by Blogging Theology also reflects its international projectionshowing how a project born in Seville can dialogue with global audiences, share experiences and open new paths of cooperation and knowledge between communities and universities.

This participation reaffirms the commitment of the University to to disseminate education of excellence, inspired by the values of justice, coexistence and service to the community.and to continue working to ensure that the history and legacy of Al-Andalusia remains a beacon of inspiration for new generations.
