The Al-Andalusia Islamic University of Spain participated in the presentation of the Seville City Council's Anti-Rumor Strategy, an initiative promoted together with the "la Caixa" Foundation with the aim of combating misinformation, prejudice and hate speech that affect social coexistence. On August 28, 2025, the Rector of the Islamic University of Spain Al-Andalusia, Sh. Mohammad Idrissi, was invited to visit Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII) with the aim of establishing academic ties and opening a path of collaboration with an institution with a solid international track record. Last August 27, 2025, in the framework of his institutional visit to Indonesia, the Rector of the Islamic University of Spain Al-Andalusia, Sh. Mohammad Idrissi, was received by the directors of Badan Amil Zakat Nasional (BAZNAS), the national institution responsible for the collection and distribution of Zakah in the country.
