From February 24 to March 4, 2024a group of 28 brothers and sisters from Spain and Costa Rica embarked on an unforgettable journey to the sacred cities of Madinah and Makkah. The Umrah was organized by the Al-Andalusia Higher Institute in SpainThe rector of the school was also present, Sh. Mohammad Idrissi.

This trip was not exclusively for students of the Institute, but was open to anyone who identified with our academic and spiritual community.

An Itinerary of Connection and Learning

📍 Madinah (February 24 - 28)

  • Ziyárah of the Prophet ﷺ in the. Rawdah and the cemetery of Baqí'..
  • Visits to mosques Qubá and Qiblataynand to the battlefield of Uhud.
  • Daily Halaqat for spiritual strengthening.

📍 Makkah (February 28 - March 4)

  • Stop at the Hulaifah Miqat for the preparation of Ihram.
  • Realization of the Umrah and days dedicated to worship at the Haram.
  • Excursion to Jabal Al-Nur and the Hirah caveas well as to Arafah, Minah and Muzdalifah.

The trip included airfare, Umrah visa, transfers, accommodation and excursions in both cities. On their return, each pilgrim brought with them not only Zamzam waterbut also the memory of a transforming experience.
