The Islamic University of Spain

Rekindling the Legacy, Building the Future

Help us open the campus. A waqf to revive the legacy.

We are living a historic moment. Alhamdulillah, the campus has already been secured, becoming home to the first Islamic university in Spain, in the city of Seville, symbol of the Andalusian legacy.

Since 2013, Al-Andalusia has been accompanying the Spanish-speaking Muslim community and has trained hundreds of students around the world. Under the guidance of our founder and president, Sh. Mohammad Idrissi, today we have more than 600 students from 22 countries.

We are now entering a new key phase of the project: repaying the interest-free loan that allowed us to complete the purchase of the campus and carry out the renovations and equipment necessary to welcome students and make the campus fully operational.

By supporting this project as a Waqf, you are helping to cement a legacy of knowledge, faith and service that will benefit future generations. Your contribution brings us closer to opening the doors of the campus and reviving an Islamic educational tradition in this land, insha Allah.

May Allah accept from all of you.

Al-Andalusia University

At Al-Andalusia University, we are committed to excellence in teaching, learning and research. We train leaders in multiple disciplines who, guided by ethics, faith and compassion, contribute to transform the world. Our goal is to transmit knowledge, enliven the heart and strengthen the mind, illuminating a path of service and development for future generations.

At Al-Andalusia Islamic University of Spain, we aspire to foster an environment of academic excellence, spiritual growth and intercultural understanding. We aim to provide our students with the knowledge and skills necessary to become global leaders capable of driving positive change in their communities. Combining rigorous study with a deep sense of Andalusian heritage, we seek to bring the spirit of Al-Andalus back to shine as a beacon of mutual respect, unity and the pursuit of truth.

We are guided by one core principle: education is a right, not a privilege. Our student body - drawn from more than twenty countries - reflects our commitment to inclusion and accessibility. We believe that learning flourishes when people with diverse backgrounds, views and experiences enrich each other. And, above all, we focus on building people, not making profit: every initiative is designed to safeguard academic integrity, professional ethics and the transformative power of knowledge.

True to our tradition of excellence, we offer on-campus and online programs that adapt to the circumstances of each student. Whether you join campus life in Seville - steeped in centuries of Andalusian heritage - or opt for distance learning, you will enjoy a flexible model that supports your personal and professional goals. Our commitment is to accompany you in discovering your potential and building a future where faith, knowledge and service come together to inspire and uplift our societies, worldwide.
